How Locdone does this

No servers. No uploads. Just your browser's own abilities.

01

Drop your PDFs

Add as many PDFs as you want. Drag them to reorder. They live in your browser tab, not on a server.

02

Locdone combines them

pdf-lib reads each file's pages and copies them into a single new document — byte-level work, done on your CPU.

03

Download the merged PDF

The combined file is available for download. No file ever left your computer in the process.

Questions

Are my PDFs really not uploaded?

Really. To verify: close your WiFi/internet, drop PDFs, and watch the Network tab in DevTools (F12) stay empty while merging completes.

Can I reorder files before merging?

Yes. Drag the files in the list to set the order they'll appear in the final PDF.

What if a PDF is password-protected?

Locdone will let you know it can't read encrypted PDFs and won't silently strip protection. Remove the password in your PDF viewer first, then come back.

Is there a limit on how many files?

No fixed cap. Practical limits depend on your device's memory. Locdone handles dozens of typical scans without issue.

Do I need an account?

No. Locdone has no login system. There's nothing to sign up for.

More tools

Every one runs on your device. Nothing is uploaded.

That file never left your computer.
Not this time, not ever.
